Lynn Hoover is an IAABC Certified Dog Behavior Consultant (CDBC) with over twenty years of experience as a marriage & family therapist. She brings her understanding of families to her work on behalf of dogs with behavior problems. She has a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, a Master’s degree in clinical social work, and completed a post-master’s training program in marriage and family. She taught psychology and family therapy at the undergraduate and graduate levels and is a Clinical member of the American Association of Marriage & Family Therapy, since 1983. She is the author of the text, The Family in Dog Behavior Consulting and serves on the journal review board for IAABC’s Animal Behavior Consulting: Theory & Practice.
